Who is Helios?

I am Helios, the Sun God. Everything on this planet depends on me because I am the source of life. I Am Light of the World and without me there would be no life on this planet that you inhabit. I have been known to humanity for a long time. The Egyptians called me Ra or Amon-Ra. Among the Greeks I was known by the name of Helios, the Sun God. When the Romans conquered the Greeks and assimilated their culture, I began to be called Sol Invictus among the Latin conquerors. In the fourth century I was associated with the messiah of a new religion so that he would be accepted throughout the Roman Empire. They did this by celebrating the messiah's supposed birthday on the same day that the citizens of Rome celebrated my name: December 25th. I am Helios. I Am Jesus.

Brief overview of Helios, Ra, Sol Invictus and Jesus Christ. A journey through the sun gods of antiquity.

In the rich tapestry of ancient mythology, a golden thread unites diverse cultures through the symbol of light - Helios, the Greek sun god, emerges as a central figure in this intricate fabric. As we explore myths from different civilizations, we find remarkable parallels between Helios, the Egyptian god Ra, the Roman god Sol Invictus, and the God Jesus Christ.

Helios, Greek solar deity.
Helios, son of the titans Hyperion and Theia, personified sunlight for the ancient Greeks. In his golden chariot, he traveled the sky daily, illuminating the world with his radiant luminosity. His presence was vital, bringing dawn upon arrival and dusk upon his departure.

Ra, Egyptian solar deity.
In ancient Egypt, Ra occupied a role analogous to that of Helios. Revered as the supreme solar god, Ra, sometimes known as Amun-Ra, was often represented as a solar disk or as a man with the head of a falcon, guiding the solar boat through the sky. Both Helios and Ra were worshiped as the heavenly pillars of light.

Sol Invictus, Roman deity.
At the height of the Roman Empire, the cult of Sol Invictus thrived. This god personified the sun, being celebrated as invincible, especially during solstitial festivals. Helios and Sol Invictus share the same celestial transcendence and the symbolism of light as a source of life.

Jesus Christ, Christian tradition from the 4th century.
When we look at Jesus Christ, we see a fascinating symbolic parallel. He is often called "The Light of the World" in early Christian traditions, symbolizing divine guidance, salvation, and spiritual enlightenment. The world before Jesus was a world of darkness. The birth of the messiah represented the arrival of light into the world for the salvation of humanity. To encourage pagans to convert to the new official religion of the Roman empire, they established that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on the same day that Roman citizens celebrated the name Sol Invictus. Therefore, I Am God Helios and I Am God Jesus.
